Nemmeno il tempo di rendersene conto e il proprietario del negozio di fumetti aveva già i miei 3.10€ sul bancone. Lo stile dark-horror confusionario dell'autrice e l'ambientazione storica francese mi hanno conquistata immediatamente, senza contare che, le donne combattenti, mi hanno sempre affascinato ^^

I hardly had the time to realize what I was doing, and the comic shop man already had my 3,10 euros on his desk. This author quite bewildering dark-horror style and the historical French background immediately conquered me. Besides, fighting women always charmed me ^^

Senza dubbio uno dei vestiti più lunghi e complicati affrontati, il vestito di Lia è pieno di rifiniture in rilievo che ho dovuto ricreare coprendo con del tessuto una corda (una vera dannazione per la macchina da cucire) e il bustino, nonostante sia rigidissimo in realtà, non voleva saperne di definire le forme per colpa di queste decorazioni che ne impedivano l'aderenza =__=
Le mie prime scarpe ricoperte degnamente!!! Metri e metri di pizzo e nastro increspati per la gonna, la cuffietta, le maniche, non ricordo nemmeno quante ore ho passato ma alla fine la soddisfazione è stata enorme!!! Per la prima volta ho usato le resine per realizzare la spada (postuma, creata tre anni dopo l'abito) usata solo per le foto ma sono stata felicissima del risultato nonostante fosse la prima volta, sono anche riuscita a "far benedire" la spada illuminandola per far risaltare le scritte sulla lama....peccato che non si noti per niente dalle foto, i led non erano abbastanza potenti da sconfiggere la luminosità dei flash XD

Indubtely one of the most difficult costumes I have done, Lia's dress is full of trim sizes in relief that I made covering a rope with fabric (my sewing machine hated that) and the corset, even if it's really stiff, isn't really tight because of the decorations =__=
My first well-done pair of shoes!!! Metres and metres of lace and wrinkled ribbon for the skirt, the bonnet, the sleeves, I don't even remember how many hours I spent sewing but in the end I was really satisfied!!! For the first time I used synthetic resin for the sword (I made it only after three years); I used it only for the photos, but I was really happy with the result even if it was my first time. I also managed my sword "to be blessed" lighting it from the behind to make the writing on the blade clear...it's a pity that you cannot see it from photos, LEDs could not beat flash's light XD

A OperationOne che s'ingegna ogni volta più del dovuto per riuscire a rendere il meglio dall'abito e dalle ambientazioni, a Artemis, che ci segue come assistente fotografica / di studio / di trucco / di compagnia per assecondarci XD A mia mamma che come al solito, senza la sua santa mano col cavolo riesco a finire i vestiti in tempo XD

Thanks to OperationOne that always does his best (even too much) to make the dress stand out in beautiful settings, to Artemis that follows us as photographer/ studio/ make up/ assistant, for her company and her support XD To my mum that as always helps me, without her I wuold never finish on time XD
