Ancora oggi, a distanza di dieci anni, ritengo la saga di Fushigi Yuugi una delle più belle che abbia mai letto. Ci sono particolarmente affezionata perchè fa parte dei primi shoujo che abbia comprato, uno di quelli che mi hanno  aiutato ad amare i manga, ed ogni volta che lo leggo non mi annoia mai continuando a emozionarmi come la prima volta.

Even today, after ten years, I think the Fushigi Yuugi Saga one of most beautiful I have read. I'm particularly fond, because it's one of first shoujo I've bought and who helped me to love manga. Every time I read it, never get bored and continues to thrill me as first time.

Ho voluto provare a realizzare una versione un pò diversa di Miaka e mi sono rifatta a una delle innumerevoli illustrazioni dell'autrice. Ho avuto non pochi dubbi sul colore della parrucca perchè nelle tavole a colori tende ad adattarli all'ambientazione circostante e quindi mi sono ispirata all'anime per la soluzione definitiva. Ma sopratutto è stato difficile trovare un sistema per decorare l'abito perchè qualsiasi tipo di colore riusciva ad attraversare il velo, ma ho trovato la soluzione....ho cambiato stoffa ^^''

I want tryed a different version of Miaka and I made one of many illustrations of the author. I had many doubts about wig's color because in the color drawings, her change it for suit the ambience around and then, I was inspired by the anime for the final solution. But mostly was difficult find a way to decorate the dress because any kind of color could pass through the veil, but I found the solution .... I changed fabric ^^''
